Modelling Clay

Last week on Friday our teacher was away from school so we had to stay with our principal. Our principal got us to do clay modelling. We went to the staff room and sat down to start on our clay. We all got a colour out of the bag, then started making something. As you can see in this photo I have made twins but i don't know what they are! I just made anything. I tell people that it's a penguin crossed with a bull because it looks like a penguin but I just added horns. I call them the Penbull twins. My friend Samuel is the person who named the twins.

Snakes (Speech)

Last week my teacher chose 4 students to say their speeches in the finals this Friday. One of those 4 students was me! We had to make our speech at least 3 minutes long and lucky for me my speech was 3 minutes and 3 seconds. The topic that I chose for my speech is snakes. Why did I chose this topic? Well because i just thought of it in my head and also because my friend told me to do it. My favorite part in my speech is that the king cobra doesn't have the strongest poison in the world but one dose of their poison is enough to kill more than 20 humans or one Asian elephant!

Trip To Vector Arena

On Tuesday 21st of June 29 students from Ruapotaka school went to Vector Arena by bus. Lucky for me because I was one of the 29 students that went. Only three students from my class came and most of the students were from room 10.

When we got there a lady told us to follow her in.There were more people that came up and said hello and how are you all doing today. We took a photo together, then they gave us a sheet with questions on it. We listened for the answers to the questions so it was pretty  much like a quiz.

JPEG Image We went to the basketball court where the Sky City Breakers play. We also had morning tea there which felt like lunch. We had an electricity talk with them about how hopefully there will be no more cars that take petrol and there will be cars that have to be charged with electricity. They also showed us an electricity car that works. That is the car in the photo.

Bus That Drives Over Traffic jams

A Beijing company has designed a tall high bus that glides straight over nightmarish mega jams. The straddling bus is supported by two legs that glide along rails laid along the
road side. The legs help the giant frame glide high above the gridlock at speeds up to 60km per hour. Vehicles that are less than two meters high will be able to drive underneath the bus even when it is stationary. The buses are able to transport up to 1,200 people at a time. Maybe Auckland needs these

Weasel damages worlds biggest science experiment

The worlds biggest science experiment has been damaged by a little weasel. The little weasel caused a short circuit at the hadron collider  accelerator in Cern. It is the world's biggest and most powerful particle colilider. It is also the largest most complex experimental facility ever built, and the largest single machine in the world which is in Switzerland. The weasel did not survive the encounter as it was electrocuted by the high voltage transformer. The short circuit forced scientists to take the LHT offline in the early hours of Friday morning.

volcano eruption

Last Thursday room 11 went to room 12 to do a science experiment. The group that I was in  started by talking to each other. We looked up on the net to see what the method is and what the ingredients are. Once we did that we typed it up on a slide. We worked collaboratively with each other by sharing ideas so we could succeed with our science experiment. We got started on our first one after morning tea but the colour did not come out so well.We did it again after lunch and the colour worked better  in a smaller container. Our group thought that our second one was much better than our first one.

At tech there are classes like wood, cooking, graphics and also metal craft. Today I went to cooking and that's the class that i'll be in for a few weeks. Today we made milkshakes. The milkshakes were alright and it tasted like it just came from the Takeaways. We were split in to groups so the year 8's went to cooking and the year 7's got split up in to two groups. One group went to graphics and the others went to Pewter with Mr Grundy. Mrs Tuipulotu scooped the ice cream in to our plates then she poured chocolate syrup into the plates with the ice cream. We all had the chocolate flavor except one group who had strawberry.

Charlie Puth

The reason Why I chose this singer is because I always hear it on the radio and cause now i'm used to it so he’s one of my favorite singers.I also chose him because he’s got cool and smooth music to listen to.

Charlie Puth is my favorite American singer because he’s got cool songs and most of his songs are expiring. One of his most sad and popular songs that he sings is probably see you again. He’s got a high voice and when he sings it sounds pretty cool.He was born in 1991 of December the 2nd. He.He was raised in New Jersey.

He made lots of songs like caring songs and sad songs he’s a bit like Ed sheeran how he sings his songs but charlie Puth is better. Here’s the link to See You Again.
