Duco confirm Joseph Parker vs Andy Ruiz fight for Auckland
Promoters Duco have confirmed that the Joseph Parker vs Andy Ruiz Jr bout will take place at vector in Auckland on December 10. The fight for the vacant WBO heavyweight tittle will remain on New Zealand soil after Duco managed to secure the requisite financial backing following Auckland City councils denial of their bid for public funding last week. The denial lead to speculation the contest would be relocated to California with Ruiz's promoter Bob Arum giving Duco a seven day deadline to find the supposed shortfall several hundreds of thousands of dollars which was ultimately provided by a joint sponsorship between the TAB, Sky TV, Burger King and farming product manufacturer Gallagher.

Floating head makeup - best Halloween costume ever?
For this years Halloween artist Alisha octigan skipped the celebrity themed costumes and took things into her own hands by creating a terrifying effect depicting her severed head floating above her neck. Using paint from her local supply store in Norway- along with a great deal of skin- octigan designed the ghoulish look herself and shared images of the result online. She used red paint to create the cut off effect to about halfway up her neck and then covered the rest of the space up her chin with black. Her freaky photos have had tens of thousands of likes and retweets on twitter and Instagram with countless commenters asking how it was possible.
